How long have you being doing it for? How did you get started?
About 4 years, maybe more, I’ve I lost track. I have been around the ocean my whole life and my dad really motivated me to start surfing. He surfs a lot himself. The second I got out there with him and caught my first wave, I fell into a deep love for the sport and it allowed me to give more respect for the ocean.

Bio:
September 9, 1994. Born in Santa Cruz, Ca. I grew up in the ocean and on the beaches. From boogie boarding to fishing, I spent more time in the water then I did on land. Through living this an early life style always intertwined in nature it has made me want to pressure traveling, shaping surfboards and surfing. Through surfing I have learned the respect of nature and people and how important it is to give back to my community. The outdoors is pretty much home to me, Camping, hiking, surfing, shaping surfboards and filming is what I do in my spare time.

Why surfing?
Why not surfing? It’s just amazing to be able to interact with nature in it’s purest form. And what better thing is there to do, then be in the water, laughing and hanging out with friends. I guess it’s something you don’t understand until you experience it yourself, but the feel and rush you get. It’s amazing.

When I am not Surfing I am . . .
Shaping surfboards, filming, camping, hiking, music, friends, laughing, enjoying life!

What is the last thing (book, article, publication) you read and why?
Surfers Journal-Given to me by a good friend and told me to read an article, but I forgot which one she told me to read…so I read them all.

What are the three most important things to you in your life?

Name three people you admire the most and why?
Ashley Lloyd: (surfer/shaper/song writer/ awesome) : I have looked up to Ashley for a long time and Truly admire her diverse talents. To me, she has made a big impact on women taking a stance in the surf industry. From ruling the water to making surfboards. She has been a big influence to my surfing and wanting to further my future in shaping. It has truly been an honor getting to become good friends with her and riding for Ashley Lloyd surfboards. ( she makes the best boards )

Mom & Dad : My parents, wow. They have always been there for me, no matter what mood I am in, whatever choices I decide. They always support what I want to do no matter what, mainly because they know I’ll do it anyways so they might as well be on my side. Buuuuut, they go up and over to help and support me and my love of surfing. When most people just look over it as another spot, They can see that it’s more to that then me, and I have to thank them with everything I’ve got. For there support no matter how ridiculous, confused and impossible my new ideas I bring home, of course the occasional good ones. To them it seems all worth wild. They are crazy, and I love them.

Bryce Suba: This guy, has been there for me for a really long time. He knows my like no one else and has been one of the biggest supporters of me from surfing or traveling, shaping or filming. He always pushes me to be my best and encourages me to accomplish everything I want to do. I think we learn a lot from one another, we better each other with our competitiveness.I admire him not only for his surfing and his friendship. But I admire him for being him self. He is never afraid to say whats on his mind and express him self. He doesn’t care what other people think. and I love him for that.
